Due to the diversity of types and sizes of businesses in the Boone area, the following Fair Share schedule is as follows:

Banks - $57 per $1 million in deposits

Utilities - $0.43 per electric meter

Health Care Facilities - $250 base plus $2 per licensed bed

Hotel/Motel - $250 base plus $1.50 per room

Professionals*/Services - $250 per professional plus fee per employee *physicians, chiropractors, dentists, optometrists, engineers, attorneys, real estate, insurance, accountants, etc.

Associate/Individual* - $125 *clergy, teachers, retirees, etc.

Non-Profit/Service Groups - $125

Commercial/Industrial - $250 base plus fee per employee

Employee Schedule

1 - 9 employees = $15 each

10 - 59 employees = $10 each

60+ employees = $5 each
