The City of Ogden and the Ogden Legacy Group, along with Boone County Hospital are working to build new medical clinic.
After many months of work, the City of Ogden, Iowa, the Ogden Legacy Group, and the Boone County Hospital have reached an agreement in principle to cooperatively build and staff a new medical clinic on Ogden's mainstreet. The construction of the clinic will amount to just over $1.4 million dollars, of which $500,000 will come from the Leonard Good Trust, and another $360,000 from a USDA loan. The goal for public and private donations has been set at $300,000 and Boone County Hospital is contributing $260,000. Ogden city officials hope to break ground on the new clinic later in 2013.
